Kerry-Anne Block, Executive Director
Kerry-Anne lives in Hastings with her husband and five children. Kerry has worked in nonprofits since 2009, and ASAAP since 2013. Kerry-Anne was the Project Director for several years before becoming Executive Director, and has extensive knowledge in Trauma-informed Care, Mental Health Prevention and is a substance abuse prevention specialist. As Executive Director Kerry-Anne is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, strategic plan of the organization, financials, fundraising, and grant management. Kerry-Anne believes that to be the best Director she should stay in contact with community members and spend time with the youth that ASAAP works with. You will often find Kerry-Anne working with community members in AA/NA, attending professional meetings, and remaining support in youth events and youth meetings.
“Our youth in the community are our future, I will remain to be a big support to them, listen to them and enjoy watching them graduate and grow, the students have kept me here since 2013, I can’t be stuck behind a desk for forty hours a week, I want to be a hands-on Director so that I know what I’m working so hard for”.
For any questions regarding ASAAP, you can contact Kerry-Anne.
