Blue Hill & Red Cloud schools were very active during 2018-2019 school year!

Both schools used the Botvin Lifeskills curriculum, and we were even able to have high school students in Red Cloud teach elementary students about healthy behaviors, substance abuse and bullying prevention through assemblies! Many of our Blue Hill students have been with us for 2-4 years, so it was great to get to spend another year with them, and enjoy some local speakers that were willing to share their personal stories regarding substance abuse.

The peer-to-peer program was designed to have students talk to each other about these issues, and be able to teach others the things they are learning. These two schools are fantastic examples of how agencies, students, schools and community members can work together to support youth.
